2008-01-26
Since last Sunday we've got a lot of problemes on Nanofortnight. We had a hardware failure and name resulutions mistakes. You can find some more information in an blog entry.
2007-07-04
Currently we've got some problem with spam in this wiki. I implemented some time ago and yesterday, too, some features which should prevent us for spam in future. Furthermore I deleted today all unused user accounts in this wiki. If you notice some spam here please let us know. Sorry for any inconvience.

Nanofortnight was down until 10 o'clock this morning. Now everything is fine and it's up again. To change the failed hard disc wasn't that problem, but the machine didn't boot anymore. So I worked the whole weekend on it. Sorry for any inconvience.

I'll change tomorrow one of the hard discs (Seagate Barracuda) of Nanofortnight. I expect a downtime of several minutes.

I fixed the jabber daemon on Nanofortnight because its configuration moved from /etc/jabber/multiple.xml to /etc/jabber/jabberd.xml. Sorry for the inconviences.

I installed a new MediaWiki version 1.6.5 on Nanofortnight. If you notice some bugs, please write me a mail or something like that. The MediaWiki upgrade story could be also read in my blog.

Today I fixed a wrong route of Nanofortnight and toke down eth0:1. Everything should work as usual, beside that the subnet 81.*.*.* is now welcome to use our serives, too.

Today I upgraded the MediaWiki to 1.5.6 (was 1.4.x) and PHP to 5.1.2.
